Made from a full leg of pork, these Gammon Hams are lightly seasoned and cooked gently over German Beechwood. We set out to develop a Ham thats not overly cured. With a texture that leans towards a succulent pork chop. With grains visible yet still really tender and juicy.
These Gammon Hams are completely cooked! Glaze them or simply remove the skin and slice!
5 Simples Steps to Glaze a Christmas Ham:
1. Remove skin by creating an small insertion and slicing with your knife pressed against the skin
2. Mix Well 1/4 cup of Honey, Orange Juice and Dijon Mustard. You may also add a splash of Brandy, Maple Syrup and Pepper to Taste
3. Score the Fats on the ham in a criss cross, this helps the fat render and browns better in the oven.
4. Glaze the ham and pop it in the oven at 150 degrees, check after 5-6 minutes, re-applying a layer of glaze each time, until the surface begins to crackle and turn a golden brown.
5. Carve table side and enjoy!
