Our Honey Glazed Hams are a great way to celebrate Christmas. Made in-house with a whole Leg of Pork.
Our butchers start by trimming and shaping the ham. Preparing it for a slow cure that lasts over 48 hours. Finally, the hams are slow smoked over German Beechwood and hand glazed with layers of honey and cinnamon. The result is a delightful ham joint, extremely succulent with a hint of smoke.
Honey Glazed Ham is delivered fully cooked and ready to eat. For best result, remove the ham from fridge and let it sit to room temperature for at least 30 minutes prior to carving.
To warm the ham: Place the ham on a rack in a roasting pan. Add water to the bottom of the pan and cover the whole thing tightly with foil. Reheat the ham in a 190 degree Celcius oven for around 10 minutes per 1KG, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 60 degrees Celcius.
If reheating just a few slices of ham, wrap the slices in foil and check after 5 minutes.
