Earlier this year, our team visited Jeju Island and are proud to introduce a new range of Jeju Hanwoo beef to our butcher shop and online store. While we anticipated a melt-in-the-mouth tenderness, Hanwoo (particularly from Jeju) surprised us with its deeper, more robust flavour, offering a different experience to Wagyu, with slightly less tenderness but greater character. Highly prized and rarely found outside Korea, Hanwoo is celebrated for its delicate marbling, clean finish, and exceptional quality, earning its place as the pinnacle of Korean beef.
