Milk Fed Lamb Rack

Moralejo Selección was born in one of the regions of Spain with the greatest lamb tradition: Zamora. They are the third generation of lamb, sheep and goats producers. From a small family stall in Zamora’s Abastos Market in the 60’s, they have grown to become an international reference, takin their product to more than 40 countries. 

The method of raising the lambs is unique in the world. Like the famous Iberian acorn-fed ham, the lambs spend part of their lives in the pasture, a natural ecosystem recognised by UNESCO, feeding on their mother’s milk during the first phase(Lechazo). After this phase (Cordero), they receive a controlled diet where dry cereals, such as wheat, corn and soy essentials are fed to achieve the pink and tender textured meat. It is a meat with a delicious flavor and juiciness, obtain by its unique diet. Moralejo Selección commits to traceability and compliance with all food regulations, animal health and welfare.
